The Egyptian Statistical Journal (ESJ) is an academic, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that is dedicated to publishing original and impactful articles exclusively in English. It is our mission to provide a platform for researchers and academics to share their innovative findings. The journal is published by the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Statistical Research (FGSSR) on behalf of Cairo University.
Since its founding in 1958, the dedicated statistics journal, ESJ, publishes high-quality original research in a wide range of disciplines. We particularly encourage contributions in statistical methods, applied statistics, mathematical statistics, operations research, biostatistics, probability, demography, population studies, and related disciplines such as health sciences and population economics. The journal's commitment to promoting interdisciplinary approaches that integrate statistics, probability, and optimization should inspire you to contribute from your respective fields.
ESJ welcomes research submissions from scholars in Egypt and across the globe.
Publication Frequency: ESJ publishes two issues per volume in a year.
Authors whose articles are accepted for publication starting in 2025 will NOT PAY an article-processing charge (APC).
