The Egyptian Statistical Journal (ESJ) is an academic, open access, peer-reviewed journal. It publishes original and impactful articles in all fields of statistics, and operation research. Published by the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Statistical Research (FGSSR), on behalf of Cairo University. It started in 1957 and its reputation for high quality has made it one of the leading journals in Egypt and the Arab states in statistics and all its fields. As a statistics journal, it publishes articles on applied statistics, statistical theory, mathematical statistics, demography and biostatistics, and methods in economic, social, physical, engineering, and health sciences
