The density function of a non-central chi-square depends I two pavamoters,the degrees of freedom v and the non-contra-Ay parameter A. If v is known, the maximum likelihood estim-xr and approximate interval estimators for X have been obtain-$. In the present paper a Reyes' estimate of X and its Reyes' isk have been derived. In the case of informative prior, hie new estimator of A has been expressed as a solution of an quation involving ratio of two infinite series. For specific liora compact forms for the new estimator have been obtained. I numerical example will be used to illustrate the procedure.
