Maximum Likelihood Estimation for the Three Parameter Weibull Distribution Based on Multi Stage Left and Right Progressive Censored Samples
This paper is concerned with obtaining new maximum likelihood estimators for the unknown parameters of the Weibull distribution using a new type of censoring called multi stage left and right progressive censoring. This new type of censoring is a generalization of most of the different types of censoring. A numerical technique will be suggested and checked numerically to obtain these new estimators. The asymptotic variance covariance matrix is given.
