Some New Aging Results for the Residual Life of k-out of-n Systems
Behavior of NBUCA, IEITA, DMRLA, and IFRA aging concepts are developed in terms of the monotonicity of the residual life of a k-out-of-n system given the time of the (n-k) failure. Similar conclusions based on the residual life of parallel systems are presented as well.
