Maximum Likelihood Estimation of the Parameters of Truncated Log-Logistic Distribution Based on Censored Samples

Abstract

In some reliability studies, observations may be truncated, which is similar to but different from censoring, arises when observations are actually observed only when they take on values in a particular range. This paper presents maximum the likelihood method for the parameters truncated log-logistic distribution, the reliability function at mission time (to) can be obtained. A numerical example is given.
